About us

Charter Community Housing was formed from the Housing Department of Cherwell District Council in March 2004.

The majority of the former housing department's staff also transferred to Charter Community Housing.

Charter Community Housing became part of the Sanctuary Housing Group on 1st August 2007.

Audit Commission Inspection

Charter Community Housing underwent Inspection by the Audit Commission in March 2006.

We were awarded a fair, one star service with uncertain prospects for improvement.
