Rents Team

The Rents team at Charter:

• Provide an Income Management service for all Charter owned stock, Banbury homes stock, some  Shaftesbury and Sanctuary owned stock.

• Advise on all types of payment methods.

• Manage rent accounts including refunds.

• Monitor and recover rent arrears.

• Give guidance on Housing Benefits including the completion of claims and verification of documentation.

• Give guidance on welfare benefits.

• Help with debt Counselling advice.

• Deal with requests for tenancy support.

• Process requests for rent references.

• Process legal action for rent arrears matters

• Deal with the repossession of properties.

• Do home visits.

•  Recover former tenants arrears.
