Garden Assistance Scheme

Charter Tenants aged 60 years and over (and/or have a disability) can apply to have help to maintain their garden. This can be no more than once in any given year (April - March), and the following criteria are must be met.

Tenants must be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (Care or Mobility component), Attendance Allowance, Constant Attendance Allowance or Mobility Allowance and have no able bodied relatives living within the Cherwell district. Proof of Benefit will be requested.

Please note that due to high demand and a limited budget, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met in any given year.

A home visit will be arranged on receipt of your completed application form to verify the information given.
