Rent Advice
Rents and other charges
When you sign up for a tenancy you will be informed of how much rent you need to pay. If we increase your rent we will give you at least four weeks notice in writing. Any new rent levels will come into effect in as detailed in your tenancy agreement.
How your rent is calculated
We set your rent in line with Government and Housing Corporation policies. Our rent setting policies are
- To cover our costs
- To be fair to all tenants
- To be similar to other social landlords
- To move towards having similar rents for similar properties in the area
Other charges you may pay
The total sum you pay can also include service charges or charges for extra services.
- Upkeep of communal areas
- Sheltered Housing
- Fuel charges
- Dispersed alarm
