The search will match any part the word(s) of your search term in the titles and any word that begins with the word(s) of your search term in the page content. For example if you enter 'hous' the search can return pages that match 'house' and 'housing' in the title and 'houses' in the content.

The search is not case sensitive (i.e. 'houSINg' will match the same as 'housing')

If you want to search more content, narrow the areas of the site that will be searched and choose whether to use wildcard or exact matches then use the advanced search.
